A Roma person beat an emergency medic in Pernik, demanding that he revives his already deceased wife, reports the Club Z website, quoting the police.

According to the reports, the ambulance was travelling to an address, when was diverted to one of the Roma areas in Pernik. It arrived a couple of minutes after the call was made, but doctor Ivo Velev could only establish the death of the patient.

At this point, according to the reports, the husband pushed the medic against the wall and beat him up, screaming and demanding that he revives the woman. The police arrived at the scene to put an end to the attack.

The head of the emergency medical service in Pernik Yulia Takova said she reported the case to the Health and Interior ministries.

This is the third incident of attacks against emergency medics in Pernik and the surrounding areas since the beginning of December.
