A Bulgarian delegation will visit Moscow end of this week to discuss the South Stream gas pipeline project, Bulgaria's Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski told journalists in Belgrade.

He is part of the Bulgarian delegation to the economic summit of Central and South Eastern European countries and China in the Serbian capital.

“We have never insisted on stopping the project, we have always wanted it to be completed and now we would like to hear the official position of Russia's energy minister,” Lukarski said, adding the well-known stance that Bulgaria wants the South Stream pipeline to comply with EU law and regulation.
