Eighty-six percent of Bulgaria's university students are considering relocation to another country or city, shows a survey of the Bulgarian Industrial Association among students and employers.
At the same time, only 10% of the students have a clear knowledge on what are the requirements of their future job.
According to the survey, more than 70% of the candidates count on relatives and friends to help them find their first job. More than 50% responded that they follow the job offerings and try to contact the potential employers directly. Below 30% count on the services of the state employment bureaus and 17% said they are willing to sit tests or participate in competitions to get a job.
Only 8% of the respondents said they were considering starting their own business.
