The municipality of Balchik, a town on the Black Sea coast in north-eastern Bulgaria, will invest BGN 1.16M in tourism development programme in 2015, according to the BTA wire service.
Part of the sum will be used for supporting various international festivals, which will popularise the town and attract tourists.
Next year will be held the Days Of Classics musical festival, the international short film festival In The Palace, the international choir festival Black Sea Sounds, a folklore festival, a children's festival, etc.
Another part of the sum will be used for renovation and maintenance of the municipal infrastructure and parks.
