The famous Russian Saint-Petersburg State Ballet on ice will perform in four Bulgarian cities in November.
The dance ensemble will present to the audience Tchaikovsky's “Nutcracker” and Prokofiev's “Cinderella” in Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo and Sofia.
The tour starts in the Burgas Opera on November 20 with a performance of the “Nutcracker”. On the following day the ensemble will perform “Cinderella”.
On November 23 and 24 are the performances in Varna, in the Festival and Congress Centre.
The tour continues in Veliko Tarnovo, in the Palace of Culture and Sport, on November 26 and 27 and ends in Sofia on November 29 with two performances – at 2 PM and at 8 PM in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK).
Tickets for all cities can be bought from the Eventim ticketing platform.
The Saint-Petersburg State Ballet on ice (former the Leningrad State Ballet on ice) was founded in 1967 by the outstanding choreographer Konstantin Boyarsky, is the successor of the remarkable traditions of the St.Petersburg school of the classical ballet.
The performances combine elements of ballet, theatre and figure skating. Members of the ensemble have been numerous Soviet and Russian figure skating champions.
