Bulgaria: Government Declares 5 Days Off For Christmas, For New Year

Bulgaria's caretaker government declared five days off for Christmas and five days off for New Year.

The schedule was approved at the government meeting on Wednesday.

December 24, 25 and 26 are by law holidays.

December 31, Wednesday, is a non-working day. It will be compensated on December 13, Saturday, which becomes a working day.

January 2, Friday, is also declared a non-working day and will be compensated on January 24, Saturday.

December 29 and 30 remain working days.

In 2015 non-working will be March 2, Monday, preceding Liberation Day on March 3, September 21, Monday, preceding Unification Day on September 22 and December 31. They will be compensated on March 21, September 12 and December 12, respectively.
