Bulgaria’s flag carrier Bulgaria Air has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Serbia, the successor of JAT Airways.
Serbia’s flag carrier, which is part of Etihad Airways, operates scheduled flights Sofia-Belgrade.
The agreement is a new type of partnership for the two airlines, according to a media statement of Bulgaria Air.
Aircraft of Bulgaria has been flying as part of the fleet of Air Serbia for a year.
The agreement is expected to bring a wide range of new opportunities to customers of Bulgaria’s flag carrier via the networks of Etihad Airways and Air Serbia.
The codeshare agreement is part of the policy of Bulgaria Air on cooperation with companies operating on the Bulgarian market in a bid to expand the scope of top-quality services offered to its customers.
For the convenience of passengers, tickets for joint flights will be issued at all offices of Bulgaria Air, via its call center, via the website www.air.bg, as well as other ticket selling points of Bulgaria’s flag carrier.
Joint flights start on November 3, 2014 and will be carried out on a daily basis from Monday to Sunday.
Bulgaria Air informs that it expects to sign more contracts with Air Serbia which will bring a number of benefits to its customers.
