Bulgaria: 5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Northern Greece

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered in northern Greece, early Saturday.

The quake occurred at 3.16 a.m. some 20 km from the northwestern city of Arta, and 249 km northeast of the capital Athens, Bulgarian news agency BGNES informs.

No damages or victims have been reported.
