Bulgaria: Some 77,000 Bulgarian Voters Cast Ballots Abroad by 7 pm Sofia Time

A total of 77,059 voters have cast ballots in polling stations abroad in Bulgaria’s early parliamentary elections by 7 pm Sofia time on Sunday.

Nearly half of them, 38 766, voted in Turkey, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

By 7 pm Sofia time, when election day ended in Bulgaria, 6,149 Bulgarian nationals have voted in Spain, 5,560 in the UK,  3,455 in Germany and 3,148 in Greece.

In Australia, 313 Bulgarian voters cast their ballots. A total of 378 Bulgarian nationals voted in Russia and 307 cast ballots in Aghanistan.
