A monster truck drove into a crowd of onlookers at an annual motor show in the east of the Netherlands killing three people, Sunday.
Another 15 people were injured, six seriously, at the event in Haaksbergen in Overijssel province, according to the official reports.
The moment the modified pick-up with outsized tires drove over a row of cars as part of the show, and then crashed into the crowd was captured on video by dozens of bystanders.
The mayor of Haaksbergen, Hans Gerritsen, reported that one child and two adults were killed in the incident, and 15 others were injured, according to Dutch national broadcaster NOS.
The injured were transported to three nearby hospitals by helicopters.
The truck's driver has been detained and questioned by police.
