The European Commission is ready to discuss the South Stream gas pipeline project at the trilateral meeting of the EU, Russia and Ukraine on September 26 in Berlin, according to Marlene Holzner, Spokesperson for the EU Energy Commissioner.
Holzner, as cited by ITAR-TASS, made clear Monday that the main issue on the agenda of the upcoming meeting was finding a solution to the Russia-Ukraine gas dispute, adding that the South Stream gas pipeline could also be included in the talks, provided that it was brought up for discussion by Russia.
