A new political party, the Movement 22 September, is to be founded on the same date next week, filmmaker Rosen Elezov.

Director Rosen Elezov has told the Bulgarian National Radio the decision to establish the party during the election campaign should be considered a sign that a new political force is ready to give a hand to those desiring change.

The Movement 22 September will not seek to run at the October 5 early elections, since it intentionally missed the deadline to do so.

"Out idea is... to do politics with very clean hands, this state merely needs morals, lustration, a new constitution and we will stand up for this," Elezov has explained.
