About 11 people contend to get a single job seat, data from Bulgaria's Employment Agency shows.
With 340 000 registered at unemployment offices as of August, only 14 000 openings are available, private national channel bTV reports, citing the agency.
This proportions are different across Bulgaria, however, with the town of Pernik, located near Sofia, displaying the toughest situation.
A single job seat in Pernik is aspired by some forty people.
Unemployment has dipped by 59 000 since 2014 began, measured at 10.4% in August, 0.2 percent down from the previous month and 0.3% down on a yearly basis.
