Over 80% of Greek households do not expect their economic situation to improve over the next year, although they are more optimistic than in 2013, when their number was nearly 90%.
Only 15% of respondents expect a certain improvement, the Greek weekly edition Vima wrote, citing data from a survey.
Some 49.6% of the polled expect a deterioration of their current situation (compared to 76.4% in 2013). A total of 32.3% said nothing will change next year.
Regarding the Greek economy in general, 25.1% of respondents have noticed improvement compared to 2013, 40.5% - saw deterioration, and 34.1% - no change, BGNES reported.
The survey was conducted by the Institute Kappa Research among 1609 people between August 27 - September 3.
