The fight between Bulgaria's Kubrat Pulev and Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko is postponed, due an injury of Klitschko, reports the German daily Bild, quoted by Bulgarian media.
The news was officially confirmed by the SauerlandBros, which represents Pulev. “Klitschko injured. Pulev will have to wait for his shot at the World titles, likely end of October,” wrote the promoters on their Twitter profile.
Current world champion Klitschko got a muscle crick in his thigh during his training sessions.
The fight for the IBF heavyweight title was supposed to take place in Hamburg on September 6.
