An asteroid is to be named after the son of Tsetska Tsacheva, former Bulgarian Parliament Speaker.

Tsacheva's son, Rumen Dangovski, won second place in the world's largest international pre-university science competition, Intel's International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), according to reports of Standard daily.

The competition brings together high school students who present research projects in the the spheres of science, technology, engineering, and math.

This year's edition of the competition took place in Los Angeles, where Rumen Dangovski won second place and an award of USD 1500 for his project in the sphere of maths.

The leader of the team of Bulgarian competitors, Konstantin Delchev, made clear that the top two contestants in the international competition had asteroids named after them each year.

Ahem, not the top two contestants, all the winners of first and second prizes in each of the categories of Intel ISEF receive such an award.

Be a tad more precise, when you translate and when in doubt - ask the people involved, so they can actually make it clear for you.

Thanks in advance
