Bulgaria Keeps Attracting British Property Buyers In June
Bulgaria remains relatively stable in terms of the most desired second homes purchase destinations for British citizens.
In end-June, Bulgaria occupies the 11th place in the ranking of the online portal TheMoveChannel.com after the country has managed to reach 10th place twice in 2014, Investor.bg reports.
For the first time Poland has reached the top 10 in the international ranking. The country occupies the 10th position in June, which is the highest position in the ranking that a Central European country has landed so far.
The United States remains the most desired destination for Brits buying property abroad. Spain has returned to the second position in the ranking, followed by France and Portugal. The fifth position is occupied by Brazil.
The strongest increase was observed in the demand for holiday homes in the United Arab Emirates in June. According to the online portal, the interest of the British customers in the country continues to grow.

Maybe Seedy can explain how non Bulgarians can get access to benefits from the Bulgarian state since it is my understanding that they must sign a document stating that they will not take any benefits from this country - or they will not be granted residency.
Very true, I couldn't agree with you more. I have lived in Bulgaria for almost 7 years, spent time living in a village and also in the city. Most (but not all) Brits in the villages love to congregate around the village shop which they refer to as a bar for some reason, and they slag of the UK whilst plying themselves with more and more alcohol. The poor unfortunate village Brits who can't make it out that night will then become the topic of conversation for the Brits present. They will then tend to verbally rip him/her to pieces and at the end of the night remind each other to meet up again the next day to do it all again.
They hate to see any fellow Brits who may be getting by or God forbid that they may be actually earning money in Bulgaria.

Most, but not all, of the Brits who buy property in Bulgaria these days are those who can't afford a decent (or any) house in their own country and who likewise can't afford to live in the manner/manor they deludedly think they're entitled to. Buying a ramshackle hovel in a tsiganska mahala for €500 is their idea of social mobility, as is trying to sell it on to some even-more-gullible compatriot for a handsome profit after a coat-of-paint-to-hide-the-cracks "renovation".
They'll spend their time running down their own country while bitching about Bulgaria, drinking until their tattoo-smothered midriffs explode, fiddling both the UK and BG welfare and tax systems, fighting with their British neighbours and patronising/exploiting the Bulgarian ones, and generally demonstrating that handing out passports to all and sundry is a very bad idea for the UK's overseas image.
Let's hope that house prices here rise dramatically so that the dross will blow away to some other unfortunate destination - we have more than enough uncouth and uneducated tsigani already and need to export some to Benefits Street rather than importing them from Perfidious Albion.....
Is this foreign investors or is it the Polish work force from Ireland and the UK bringing back the euros and pounds they have earned and investing that hard earned money in their own country ?
They earn over 500 e a week they join together in groups put up the cash and buy a house or apartment at home then rent it out after a short time each member of the group owns one property then they start over until each member has what they want or need.
They share a room in a house near to where they work two sleep there at night and then two sleep there after a nights work ( 4 persons sharing ) this cuts the rent costs and allows them to save hard and raise cash quickly to buy at home.
