Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said Thursday he would sign an association agreement with the European Union on June 27, reports Reuters.

He said he would also send his new foreign minister to Luxembourg next week to lay out a peace plan for the east to EU ministers.

Poroshenko made his comments after presenting Pavlo Klimkin, who was earlier endorsed as foreign minister by parliament, to the media.

Klimkin commented: "Our priorities are obvious — they are a peace plan [for eastern Ukraine] and association with the EU."

Referring to plans to sign the Association Agreement, Poroshenko said, "that for which we have waited for so long will take place next week."

Meanwhile, Russia's President Vladimir Putin said Ukrainian exports to Russia will no longer be zero-rated should Kiev sign the economic part of a free-trade agreement with the EU.

"Some economic problems may appear for us, and we will be unable to keep a zero import duty for certain," he said late Wednesday at a meeting on agriculture development, quoted by Russia Today.

In the first place, the limitation would concern agricultural products, Putin explained.

Poroshenko has no choice. He was 'elected' to sign the agreement. He will sign anything, even his own castration order as long as Obama's finger point to where to. Shame about the Ukrainian people, they have a false hope to become members of EU - that is not going to happen. Not in a near future.

NATO and Russia will not go to war over the Ukraine.

The West will persue its Ukrainian land grab through getting people into power in the Ukraine that will serve Western interests and through IMF loans to enslave the Ukranian people to the West.

Poroshenko claims he wants peace but signing this agreement will stir things up more, not calm them down.

The Ukraine was always part of Russia and should become part of the Russian Federation.

NATO WILL NOT - 22 Jun 2014 // 18:57:58

get involved in a ground war with Russia. Ukraine is NOT a NATO member, therefore no Need to defend a non NATO Country.

I wouldn't agree that "Russia's media prepare the public...".
As for MSM, including media in Europe, their silence now, as well as their behaviour on the whole, demonstrate their full dependence on the Big Overseas Boss. They were "strongly recommended" to keep silence about the real events in Ukraine (just as it was while Georgia's barbaric attack on South Ossetia in 2008), but they will WAKE UP immediately, if only Russia interferes......Btw, following the Big Boss' orders, his puppets in Kiev do their best today for drugging Russia into the mess in Ukraine. Nothing good for Russia, for Ukraine, for Europe, but not for Big Boss.
Isn't it clear?

Poroshenko thinks he will constrain the Russian insurgency only to Lugansk and Donetsk... may be.. but may be not..
We will see how much of Ukraine will be part of EU.

Or may be he is advised to press Russia and to force it to overreact?
But I am not sure the NATO generals will go to an open war with Russian in Ukraine. Because it can not be a conventional war.. It will be nuclear very soon.
And I am sure Russia will not back.. they have no room to back.

Obviously NATO acquired bad habits pressing against countries like Iraq and Yugoslavia and now they may think it will be the same..

Russia's media prepares the public for a possible nuclear war. I do not understand why the media in Europe is silent on the subject??
It is good for the people to know what may come out of this.
