Bulgaria: Wikileaks Says Ukraine's Poroshenko 'Was US Informant' Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who was sworn in last week, is perceived to be a controversial figure in and out of Ukraine. Photo by EPA/BGNES

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko handed to the US Embassy in Kiev inside information on the forging of a coalition government in 2006, according to Wikileaks data.

Russia's RIA Novosti agency, citing the purported evidence, tried to inform Ambassador John Herbst in April 2006 on the situation, describing himself as an insider from the party Nasha Ukrayina (Our Ukraine), a bloc associated with former President Viktor Yushchenko.

Cables sent from the Embassy to the US State Department however suggest that the diplomat doubted the authenticity of Poroshenko's information and considered it to be part of backdoor games aimed at arresting Yuliya Tymoshenko (former Prime Minister) and Oleksandr Turchynov (acting President before Poroshenko's election).

The two were once allies to Yushchenko, but discrepancies led to mutual accusations just years on from the 2004 Orange Revolution. Poroshenko, on the other hand, took part in the coalition discussions as lawmaker and close to President Yushchenko.

A billionaire confectionary magnate, Poroshenko is seen as a controversial figure, with some relying on him to wind down tensions in east Ukraine and others reminding he is an "oligarch" who has always maintained his strings in politics regardless of who was in power.

Why can people still not reflect Honestly on recent history? Because nobody, controlling the whole "Life and Death" game of unscrupulous actions, is being honest ! This is all just "History repeating", and the losers as usual, are the real people who just continue to suffer until ALL major players have carved up that which they wish to control, use and abuse to exploit the situation for financial gain with 100% disregard for the wishes of the electorate. This whole power play is an insult to anyone with even just an elementary education; a simple rush to grab whatever they can !
If only one "horse" would remove the Blinkers , they would notice when looking around the world that Capitalism has FAILED! Please research for yourself what Christine Lagarde (managing director, IMF) said on the 27th May 2014 in Mansion House in London. There is a chance for a future "Inclusive capitalism", but NOT in its' present form! The Banks in London and Zuerich are money laundering for all the Mafia bosses in Eastern Europe, indeed proceeds from Organised Crime worldwide, not to mention corrupt politicians minor rewards!
The business of food production and supply is not as profitable as FRACKING (Joe Biden's Son's business in the Ukraine) in the short term, but it is one sustainable financial solution that will NOT destroy the environment that belongs to the people and it will build a financially SECURE and stable future for Ukrainian Children of today, without racking up a lifetime legacy of DEBT, in order to propagate prehistoric 20th century idiot notions of Colonialism and Capitalism.
The Ukraine does not need Weapons. They have a 5 million "coldwar stockpile' sitting by Slavyansk which nobody Honestly wishes to discuss until it is too late and it has all been carved up by the 2 strongest European Mafias (Russian and Ukrainian). This stockpile will be traded mostly to Africa (Congo) for Coltan, the most expensive commodity on the planet, presently needed for Smartphones etc. The Godfather of this operation whose name begins with 'P', and who lives in a very cold city in winter beginning with 'M' will get his 'Cut of the deal'. The KGB will absolutely make sure of this and the US are happy too because now they can sell Billions of dollars worth of weapons on credit to Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Ukraine etc.
BUSINESS as usual: f**k Integrity, f**k Humanity, f**k the Planet....who cares? Luckily for us, the IMF actually is beginning to be more honest in their assessment of the global economy. Both Russia and the US must be sanctionned finally to destroy any empirical or financial self interest. Time to shape the future with a completely NEW set of values and criteria for the 21st century, because if we do not remove CONTROL of Politics from the excessively wealthy 1% there is only one solution left for the honest people....Buy a gun.

Poroshenko is the US puppet and his involvement goes back a long time. The US funded the elections in the Ukraine to get their man elected.

They will want their land grab in the Ukraine to succeed and create a state enslaved by debt to the US EU and occupied by NATO as NATO will say we are occupying your country to protect you.

Thunderstorm, you are a disgusting person. Ukraine has nothing in common with morally bankrupt greedy american bankers and shouldn't be under their control.

Russians are at least the same people, and I'm strongly supporting Putin. However as for Ukraine, the best that can happen is that they're left alone to be an independant country. This is the beauty of the borders.

Fucking globalizers like you shouldn't show up across the atlantic where you don't belong...

...and how did your Putin called Yanukovych? It is obvious that also the US have their "businesses" in UA.But it's better for the UA to go with them than with you commies because the Amis have much more to offer. Compare the GDR to west Germany or North Korea to the South.

"informant"...more than that, dear Novinite: starting from 2006, US ambassadors called Poroshenko
in their cables to Washington: “Our Ukraine (OU) insider”, “disgraced oligarch”, “tainted politician”.
But now “POUPsic” ('Poroshenko, Our Ukraine President') is the most appropriate conspiratorial name ;-)
