China's President Jiang Zemin has renewed his calls for radical economic reforms at the key 16th Communist Party Congress, telling delegates they must "adopt new ways of thinking" to make the country richer. The call follows Jiang's urging to delegates during an opening speech at the Congress on Friday morning to "free our minds from the shackles of outdated notions, practices and systems, from the erroneous and dogmatic interpretations of Marxism."
