Ukrainian forces have regained control of a government building in the eastern city of Mariupol.

The operation to drive out the pro-Russian demonstrators occupying the city hall building was staged overnight. They were successfully removed by government forces without any casualties or injuries, the BBC reports.

Last week, three pro-Russian separatists were killed in the city during what the government called an "anti-terrorist operation", sparking condemnation from Russia on the eve of the Geneva talks.

The acting Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov proclaimed on Thursday that the port city of Mariupol had been "liberated". Nonetheless, barricades remain around many government buildings in eastern Ukrainian cities.

Representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic, where Mariupol lies, claim they still have control of the city however.

Looking at Western News, the tactics of the illegal Kiev Government is to use armoured cars against isolated checkpoints manned by pro democracy and referendum protestors, shoot it up make a lot of noise then return to a safe base.

Sure it looks good and effective for the cameras but they dont control the ground.

So if the illegal Kiev government keeps doing this it will achieve nothing but look like they are doing something to satisify the armed right sector thugs in Kiev and the US government.

Looking at Western news, yes there was conflict at Mariupol City Hall, but the pro democracy, pro referendum protestors still have their barricades in place around the city hall.

Western news media say that the illegal Kiev Government is exaggerating what they are doing and when the journalists go there they see an absence of the Illegal Kiev government forces.

The illegal Kiev government forces did set a pro referendum protestors on fire using armoured cars.

That was the ultimate goal of the Kiev fascist - seizing the government and taking control over the Russian population. No matter how you act with these degenerates they have firmly decided to become Washington's puppets. Russia's patience is on the verge of collapse. But now, dear Kiev imbeciles, your new western brothers will give you loans, gas and they will support your economy!
