A US warship heading towards the Black Sea passed through the Dardanelles Strait on Tuesday.

USS Taylor was already deployed in the sea back in February, during the Sochi Olympics.

It then drew criticism from Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, after running aground and spending 33 days in Black Sea waters in order to be repaired in Samsun, Turkey.

Lavrov in response accused Turkey of violating the Montreux Convention, with sets a 21-day limit for ships of non-Black Sea countries.

As of Tuesday's passage of USS Taylor through the Dardanelles, no further details of its route were provided by Hurriyet Daily News, which was the first to report the event.

The US has so far sent a few ships in the region to show support for Ukraine in its standoff with Russia.

In March it deployed the destroyer, which was later joined by USS Truxtun.

NATO has recently adopted measures to bolster the defense of its eastern flank as a reaction to a possible threat posed by the situation in Ukraine.

Hey gypsy buffer....

Watch out you are making me look exactly like a westerner. A homosexual minority...

Let me clarify, I'm straight, red blooded, Bulgarian Christian!
Thanks God that I was born in the East so I have my morals and real values!

Listen puffer bluffer…

If you don’t like my postings just don’t read them, obviously they are not intended for readers like you. Also leave Hamilton alone; it’s a great city and the best place to invest in Canada. If you are going to live in Canada and in Ontario you better move to Hamilton.
The city is the Canadian “emerging market” and offers the highest return on investment!

The "Oracle of Hamilton" has spoken. LOL. The successful graduate of the "world renown" Trakia University in Stara Zagora has a lot of knowledge to share with us lesser educated folks.

No need to read the FT, Economist, NYT or watch Bloomberg when we can get the best political, economic and financial analysis from the the "Oracle of Hamilton." We can become rich and successful by listening to his insightful views.

George, stick to managing your boss's 7-11 store in Hamilton and spare us YOUR BULLSHIT.

There they go, the US taxpayers dollars at work. The US government taxes its citizens and corporations to death, prints crazy amounts of money on promissory notes, gets heavily in debt to countries like China(owes more than a trillion) and Russia and then goes and spends the money on nonsense around the world. The economy in the US is still very sluggish, millions are without work, the gas prices are at record levels but the US government is sending "mobile coral riffs" to the Black Sea. Once they sink those "destroyers" make an excellent sea creatures habitat.
Ukraine should put their country in order and the world shouldn't waste any time and money on them. And that NATO is another taxpayers waste. BTW Russia should also calm down, pull back to normal and realize that there is no East and West anymore, it's the 21 century.
