Bulgaria: Three 'Shot Dead' in Clashes in Eastern Ukraine - Interior Minister Ukrainian soldiers and members of the National Guard were deployed Wednesday in the east and south of the country to conduct an "anti-terrorist" operation and put an end to unrest which Kiev says is being fomented by Russia. Three pro-Russian separatists were killed in South-Eastern Ukraine's Mariupol, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on Thursday.

Avakov added 13 activists were injured and 65 arrested in clashes with Ukrainian forces sent to conduct an "anti-terrorist" operation in response to recent riots.

The Minister made the announcement on his Facebook profile and was quoted by UNIAN news agency.

"Overnight, in response to the attack of military units of the National Guard in Mariupol, Interior Ministry forces carried out an operation to locate the attackers, which amounted to around 300 people," the message reads.

After Kiev's forces were pelted with landmines and Molotov cocktails, the military fired warning shots.

The incidents reported were in the attack that followed "in compliance with the law".

Interior Ministry's operation in Mariupol continued later on Thursday morning after reinforcements were sent to the troops.

More incidents were reported by official and local sources over the past hours.

Three pro-Russian rebels were wounded after Ukrainian soldiers opened fire in Kramatorsk, where six armored vehicles of the army had earlier passed in to activist's hands, with Russian flags waving over them.

Also in Kramatorsk, Ukrainian units handed their weapons to an unidentified group of armed men after being forced to do so by a man with no insignia on his uniform, Dariknews.bg reported, citing local media.

The developments come hours ahead of the beginning of four-way talks in Geneva due to be attended by Ukraine, Russia, the EU and the US.

Since the beginning of April, Rebels across the east and south have seized a number of government buildings and demand that either Ukraine should take steps toward federalization or they join Russia.

Warfou, didn't your beloved maidan idiots do exactly the same thing? Shooting and throwing molotovs cocktails at unarmed anti riot police?

Warfou - 18 Apr 2014 // 13:01:43

"Unarmed" people throwing Molotov coctails and shooting at the soldiers? There is a video evidence on this, easy to find on you tube or any TV (except RT & company). Try the same in Russia and look what happens.

sa-sha if any of these people were Russian the Western media would be publishing it loudly, they are not saying anything.

Such lies and it was clear that the unarmed people who stood in front of the tanks were ordinary Ukranians, I have seen online western news media that say this.

And yes the person who posted on the forum yesterday about the illegal Ukraine government not violating human rights the same week as they sent tanks against their own people should seek medical help.

Ukraine, Syria, Libya and Egypt send tanks against their own people.

Indeed, it makes no sence at all. They're just not used to people with views apart from NATO and thinks that these people are the same person. And the vocabulary and behaviour of each and every person mentioned above is very different.

It would be like saying Seedy, Veritas, Behemoth, Warfou are same person as they're all very insulting. Then we have the idiots like jordy who is just spreading hate amongst this forum.

It does comes to me as surprise as the most insulting people here are actually pro-western.

Also Yane and "Sobieski?" is clearly very different people as well. It's hard to keep track of which right winger is who as they sometimes change usernames just to mock.

To Vladimir and Sa-sha,

These right wing people here are really crazy, our three styles are completely different and they don’t read the posts properly.

If they did they would know that:

Sa-sha is descended from ‘White Russians’ I learned this because I said something very unpleasant about ‘White Russians’

Vladmir worked in France before moving to Bulgaria.

My ancestors were small farmers and I am the first person from my family to go to University.

We are different people from different backgrounds and some of our views are the same.

OPTIMISTIC, please stop your harassment and intimidation you are beginning to scare me and others on this forum.

You are clearly an autocratic and undemocratic individual in the payroll of a foreign government trying to intimidate me and others in this forum with veiled threats and slanderous accusations that could be used in a court to sue you for slander and libel.

I DON"T APPRECIATE BEING THREATENED OPTIMISTIC. I will contact the Forum Administrators.

PLEASE STOP YOUR SAVAGING OF OTHER FORUM PARTICIPANTS.

STOP YOUR PSYCHOPATHY AND ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND STOP SPREADING LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES, HARASSING PEOPLE HERE AND SPREADING DISINFORMATION AND SLANDER.

To Veritas

Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights provides for freedom of expression, so by you coming on this Forum trying to shut people up who have views different to yours shows that you don’t respect the human rights of others.

The illegal Kiev government sent tanks against civilians this is a violation of civil behavior in modern democratic countries.

Any document that says that Kiev does not violate human rights is a lie because the use of tanks against unarmed civilians is a clear violation of human rights.

And earlier this week the Kiev Government said it would destroy the protestors in Eastern Ukraine this is more human rights violations. The right to protest is a basic Human Right protected under the European Convention on Human Rights.

Even the Western Media admits that these have happened.

Please respect human rights and the right of people to elect governments and their right to self determination.

OPTIMISTIC

Please see my last post about the outright LIES AND DISINFORMATION YOU AND SA-SHA (PROBABLY THE SAME PERSON) is spreading in this forum.

STOP IT IMMEDIATELY. WE DON"T WANT YOUR PUTIN PROPAGANDA HERE. We are all intelligent people that can think independently and FREELY!!!!!!!

Optimistic - 17 Apr 2014 // 15:57:01

sa-sha, yes you make good points about the nature of the forces the illigetimate Kiev government can use.

Red sektor people are still armed in Kiev but there are not lots of arms, a big concern is if the Kiev governments gives arms to these people then it will be very dangerous.

A Rawanda situation has to be avoided, if the Kiev government arms Red Sektor then Russia needs to move into the Eastern Ukraine to protect the people there.

Everyone should be alarmed - since when did democratic nations fire on their own citizens, separatists or not? And backed up by the US and EU? What monster is being created here?

Optimistic - 17 Apr 2014 // 14:54:05

To Warfou, please I don't insult you, so it would be nice if you didn't insult me please, I am a sensitive person.

Bulgaria and France have laws against fracking, Romanians are protesting against fracking in their country, there are big health and environmental risks with fracking.

The US is big into fracking, they don't care about the health of their people.

Only the people of Eastern Ukraine should decide if they will allow fracking in their regions as they will suffer the health and environmental destruction.

Veritas, I wish you were right but just a few weeks ago a TV news manager was beaten up by government people who objected to the TV show that he transmitted.

Freedom of speech is a basic human right.

The people who beat him up made a video so the evidence is there.

The government in Kiev said that they were going to destroy the protestors in Eastern Ukraine, the right to protest is a basic human right.

Veritas you will probably deny that these things happened because you are the liar.
