Lavrov Confirms Russia’s Commitment to Geneva Talks
Russia will not pull out of the four-party talks on the Ukraine crisis scheduled for Thursday in Geneva, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed.
"The meeting remains on the agenda. We are extremely hopeful that the efforts being used now, and including those by the Russian administration, will take effect and any use of force against the protesters (in eastern Ukraine) will cease", Lavrov stated, cited by RIA Novosti.
The talks in Geneva are to take place on Thursday. They will be attended by EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, US Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchitsya, in an effort to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine.
Lavrov's comments dispel speculations that Russia could boycott the talks following Kiev's decision to conduct a military operation against the pro-Russian demonstrators who have occupied government buildings in a number of eastern Ukrainian cities.

This week the EU, US, NATO backed illigetimate government set out to destroy and kill the protestors in Eastern Ukraine who want referendums on self determination.
Yesterday was a great day for the Ukraine, unarmed people stood in front of the tanks and argued with the soldiers and prevented the governments attack on its people.
The Ukrainian soldiers behaved in a humane way and the bravery of ordinary people was incredible.
Last night the NATO reaction to this peace in the Ukraine is to increase its air and sea forces in the region. This is what they do before they launch a bombing and cruise missile attack on a country.
They are probably looking for a reason to bomb Eastern Ukraine, they will have their forces in the area with their fingers on the triggers. They bombed civilians in Serbia so they are capable of bombing civilians in the Eastern Ukraine.
Russia should request that NATO stops this build up and ask that the US and EU are excluded from the talks until NATO stops the military build up they started last night.
