Bulgaria: 49% of Bulgarians Against Sanctions on Russia - survey File photo

A survey of Gallup International shows that 49% of Bulgarians are against the sanctions on Russia and 21% are for them.

The survey was done in the end of March and beginning of April and interviewed 1013 adult Bulgarian citizens.

Thirty-four percent of those surveyed said they were more sympathetic with those who support close relations with Russia and 31% are in favor of those who want Ukraine to join the EU.

Thirty-five percent of the respondents said they approve the annexation of Crimea, 27% do not and 38% said they do not know.
