Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
The leader of Bulgaria’s Socialist Party (BSP) and former PM, Sergey Stanishev, will lead his party’s list for the upcoming European Parliament elections.
The decision was made late on Friday by the BSP’s executive committee, Standartnews informs.
“I thank you for the trust you have shown in me. I take the full responsibility for the elections”, Stanishev told his party comrades.
Second in BSP’s election list will be Iliyana Yotova, a current MEP, while third will be former Parliament Speaker Georgi Pirinski.
During Saturday’s BSP plenum, the party will adopt a declaration on the crisis in Ukraine.
