Bulgarian PM Plamen Oresharski said he is open to dialogue with protesters who have re-occupied the main building of Sofia University, requesting his resignation.
"I am ready to welcome their representatives and to talk on their request for the cabinet's resignation," said Oresharski in Veliko Tarnovo Sunday.
"I am closely following the situation at the Sofia University, but at present I see no constructive evolution in protesters' stance," said the Bulgarian PM.
"I would be happy if there were more constructive demands. Then dialogue could be more effective," added the Bulgarian PM.
A handful of students and others re-occupied the main building of Bulgaria's oldest institution of higher learning in the small hours Saturday.
They requested Oresharski's resignation and the dissolution of parliament, much like an earlier occupation in October and November 2013.
The university's senior administration have expressed the outrage at the act, stressing that the university is entering exam period.
Bulgaria's PM Plamen Oresharski has multiple times extended invitations for discussion towards anti-cabinet protesters, to no avail.
