A court in Paris has sentenced two Algerians to life in prison for a series of deadly nail bomb attacks at train stations in the capital in 1995, which killed eight people. 34-year-old Boualem Bensaid was acquitted of directly causing the bloodiest attack at Saint-Michel station in the heart of Paris, which killed eight people, but he was found guilty of complicity in the bombing. He was also found guilty of planting a bomb at the Maison-Blanche metro station, which injured 18 people, and has been ordered to serve at least 22 years.
