The National History MuseumNIM, in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, is offering free admission on December 22, 23 and 30.

All priceless and most popular exhibits of the museum have returned from abroad and from other parts of the country, and visitors will be able to see the splendid collection in its entirety.

NIM is showcasing, beginning Sunday the Thracian gold treasure in its exhibition "Legends Come to Life".

Until recently, the Thracian gold was being exhibited at the State History Museum in Moscow.

Along with the unique Panagyurishte treasure, visitors can see other exquisite treasures such as those of Rogozen, Borovo, Letnitsa, Sinemoretz, Zlatinitsa-Malomirovo, as well as the three silver gilt salt pans, which are very rare works from the Roman era

On other days, admission is BGN 10 for adults, BGN 1 for children, students and university students, and BGN 3 for families with children.

Visitors, from locations that have archeology or museum items on display at NIM, enjoy 50% discount.

There are also combined admissions: BNG 12 for NIM and the Boyana Church, and BGN 14 for NIM, the Boyana Church, and the Zemen Monastery.
