The blockade of Bulgaria's oldest and most prestigious school, Sofia University, is going to be lifted in the morning of November 13.
This was announced before Darik Radio by a protesting student, Angel Zlatkov, who is enrolled in the History Department of Sofia University.
He informed that on Tuesday morning, the demonstrators were busy cleaning the main building of the school before moving outside to stage a symbolic occupation of the Parliament.
Zlatkov explained the majority of students, who have occupied part of the university campus three weeks ago in protest against the Socialist-led government of Plamen Oresharski and with demands for its resignation, have voted to lift the blockade.
According to the protesting student, they made the decision to move outside and occupy the Parliament because the government is ignoring them, and they needed to become more visible, and at the same time allow others to attend their classes.
Zlatkov explained the lift of the blockade pertains only to Sofia University and the other protesting schools will make their own decision.
