Bulgaria's basketball champions Lukoil Akademik have fired their head coach Oliver Kostic.
Lukoil lost their 4th consecutive game in this year's Euro Cup on Wednesday, when they were beaten at home 61:70 by KK Igokea of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Kostic was appointed as head coach only 2 months ago, but the poor results in Europe have certainly not fallen well with the team's President Sasho Vezenkov.
Assistant coach Miroslav Ralchev will be in charge until a new appointment is made.
Lukoil is the absolute dominant in Bulgarian basketball over the past decade, winning 10 straight league titles. They have not been able to leave a considerable mark in European competitions however.
