According to exit poll data of ACT, as cited by the Focus news agency, Margvelashvili, candidate of the Georgian Dream party, won 68% of the votes.
The exit poll data was calculated on the basis of 80% of processed data from 120 polling stations in Georgia.
According to ACT, United National Movement candidate Davit Bakradze ranked second with 17.1%, followed by Nino Burdzhanadze from the Democratic Movement-United Georgia party with 9.9% of the votes.
According to GFK data, Margvelashvili won 66.7% of the votes, while Bakradze was backed by 20.2% and Nino Burdzhanadze was supported by 7.5% of the voters.
