Ukraine Issues Stark Warning: Third World War if Russia Prevails!
Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
Russian lawmaker Alexey Pushkov has mocked the United States on Twitter in response to the mass shooting at the D.C. Navy shipyard, calling the tragedy an example of "American exceptionalism."
"New shooting at the Navy headquarters in Washington -- Lone shooter and 7 corpses. No one is surprised,” said Pushkov, head of the foreign affairs committee of Russia’s lower house of parliament.
He wrote the incident was “a clear confirmation of American exceptionalism.”
“The USA should part with the notion of American exceptionalism. It contradicts the principles of equal rights and smells of political racism,” Pushkov also said on Twitter.
Pushkov’s controversial comments echoed a recent New York Times op-ed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the piece, Putin blasted US exceptionalism and admonished Americans to remember that God has created everyone equal.
The US Embassy in Moscow responded to Pushkov directly on Twitter, saying, "What is exceptional here? Why use a tragedy to score political points?"
At least 13 people were killed and several others wounded after a gunman went on a shooting rampage at a US Navy administrative center in Washington on Monday.
