Protesters, supporting Bulgaria's Socialist-endorsed government, have gone creative to demand the immediate resignation of the conservative president.

Citizens backing the cabinet of  Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, gathered in front of  the Presidency building in the center of Sofia at 12 a.m on Tuesday, organizing a symbolic treat, which they ironically called the “Impeachment” cocktail.

The ingredients in the cocktail show the reasons why they want Bulgaria's President, Rosen Plevneliev to be removed from office.

"The ingredients include "double standards, partial veto, Gerb party member. The cocktail is served cold with a pinch of arrogance," Nina Geogieva from the New Public Agreement Civil Association explained.

"We rally for the resignation of President Rosen Plevneliev because of his double-standard attitude towards protesting citizens, his participation in obscure oligarchic schemes and most importantly, his failure to unite the nation which is the Bulgarian president's main constitutional obligation," Nina Georgieva told reporters.

The association has proposed a national round table to discuss the most urgent and acute issues Bulgaria faces and sign a new Public Agreement  between citizens, political parties and the authorities.
