Bulgarian anti-government protesters, who launched on August 3 a long pedestrian march across the country from capital Sofia to the seaside, are going to reach the town of Karnobat Sunday.

Speaking for Nova TV, participants said they felt good and strong and most drivers on their route have honked and waved in sign of support, while a smaller number of people have demonstrated negative attitude towards their initiative.

Their final goal is the State residency Evsinogard (Euxinograd) near the Black sea city of Varna.

From Sofia, the march went through second-largest city Plovdiv, on to Stara Zagora, and then from Karnobat it will go in the direction of Burgas on the Black Sea and north to Varna.

All are invited to join along for the whole 450-km trip or parts of it. Karnobat is close to Burgas and some 346 km southeast of Sofia.

The Euxinograd residence near Varna is a top seaside destination for many Bulgarian MPs and ministers.

Meanwhile, other demonstrators against the Socialist-endorsed Cabinet of Prime Minister, Plamen Oresharski, are staging Sunday a "guest" rally in the southwestern city of Blagoevgrad.

They will arrive from all over the country to support the local rallies against the government and against the appointment for Regional Governor of Musa Palev from the predominantly ethnic Turkish party Movement for Rights and Freedoms, DPS, a partner of the Socialists in the Cabinet and the Parliament.

The gathering point is the building of the Blagoevgrad municipal administration and the City Hall has issued a permit to hold the protest.

"The visit" has been initiated by the recently announced Protest Network and was organized on Facebook.

Free parking has been secured for those who will arrive by car. Many have shared online train and bus schedules to Blagoevgrad.

The rally in Blagoevgrad does not cancel the traditional one in the capital Sofia, which is to start on Independence square between the headquarters of the government and the Office of the President at 6:30 pm for the 59th evening in a row.

Rallies in support of the government persist as well. On Saturday, participants in them visited likeminded people in the central town of Nova Zagora.
