Bulgaria’s economic environment should be made foreseeable for the business to operate, according to the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It is getting clear that foreign business partners are losing their interest in investing in the country because of the unstable political situation. That reflects extremely negatively on the opportunities to stimulate an economic growth.
The crediting of the business is in deep crisis, as well. What is the way to settle the dead-end situation? It is simple, as most genius things are –politicians simply have to hear to the business sector. The economy will then boost forward, and the political situation will improve. Of course, first, it must get normal.
The increase in the minimum insurance threshold from BGN 2200 to BGN 3100 and the increase in the minimum wages is a positive step, at first glance. But still, that increase and the fiscal policy cannot be juxtaposed.
To put it in one word – salaries are increasing more slowly than the prices of goods and services are increasing.
The business needs to have dialogue with the government for our economic future to be born. Otherwise, we are to stay in our past.
