An explosion occurred Saturday in Terminal 3 of the Beijing International Airport, according to police.

A wheel-chaired man set off a home-made explosive device outside the arrivals exit of the Terminal 3 at around 6:24 pm local time, according to Xinhua. The man was injured and is currently under treatment.

According to BBC, the man was named by Chinese state broadcaster CCTV as Ji Zhongxing, from Shandong province in China's north-east.

Xinhua says the explosion caused no other injuries.
