Ukraine Issues Stark Warning: Third World War if Russia Prevails!
Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
Bulgaria has managed to secure an important victory over Argentina in the second match of the opening day of the FIVB Volleyball World League Finals on Wednesday.
Bulgaria collected their eighth successive win over Argentina following a 3-1 (28-26, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23) victory in a very tough match.
The hosts, cheered up and supported by their passionate fans, opened a 18-13 lead in the first set, but Bulgarians managed to clinch it at 28-26.
The second set was a lot tighter but continued the trend of the lead swapping hands many times. With both teams jostling for position Bulgaria put their noses in front at the finishing post and claimed the second set 25-23 and go 2-0 up overall.
Quiroga and company pulled themselves together in the third set and steamed to a 25-20 third set win to reduce the match deficit to 2-1 giving the 5,000 fans plenty more to sing about.
This seemed to spark Bulgaria back into life. Sokolov was unstoppable as last year’s World League and Olympic fourth-placed team did enough to get home 25-23.
The Finals of the 24th edition of the world’s premier annual men’s volleyball tournament are held in Mar del Plata, Argentina from July 17 to 21, 2013.
The top two teams from pools A (Brazil and Bulgaria) and B (Italy and Russia), the winners of pool C (Canada) and the host nation (Argentina) compete in the finals.
