Friends and relatives will bid farewell on Sunday to the young lady, who died in the horrific crash on Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd in Sofia late on Wednesday.
Stanislava Asenova, 25, died in hospital hours after a taxi heading for the city center spun out of control and rammed into a bus stop full of people. Another 11 were injured.
The taxi driver behind the wheel was under the influence of alcohol.
Stanislava’s sister says friends called her Sunny for her cheerful attitude to people and life.
“Every time we watched the news at home and heard of people killed in car crashes, her eyes filled up with tears,” her sister recalls.
According to reports of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), the young woman was taken to the Sveta Anna hospital with a cervical fracture but the doctors did not manage to save her.
A six-year-old child with a head trauma and a rupture of the intestinal tract continues to be in serious condition; his/her mother has been stabilized.

The driver, Mihail Kurtev, has told the court that he is sorry for what he did.
