FC Irtysh Pavlodar have booked their place in the second qualifying round of UEFA Europa League by surprisingly defeating Bulgarian giants Levski Sofia in Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Levski left its fans disappointed, as the team lost 2-0 after a dismal performance in Pavlodar.

Murzoev and Bakaev scored two early goals for the home side. Levski finished the game with 10 players on the pitch, as Daniel Dimov was shown the red card for conceding a penalty in the 12th minute.

Irtysh deservedly advanced, winning 2-0 on aggregate.

Bulgarian team Botev Plovdiv will face another opponent from Kazakhstan, Astana, later on Thursday. The first game finished in a 1-0 away victory for the Bulgarian side.
