Indonesia Arrests Radical Imam

Indonesian police have ordered the arrest of radical Muslim imam Abu Bakar Ba'asyir. Ba'asyir is in hospital in the city of Solo - he collapsed on Friday ahead of being questioned in connection with bomb attacks on churches in 2000. Brigadier General Aryanto Sutad, director of criminal investigations, told AFP news agency: "As of now he is formally arrested but he will remain in hospital until he is healthy enough." The move came as Australia warned it had received intelligence about plans for bomb attacks on Westerners in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. Ba'asyir denies links with terror groups.
