Ex Bulgarian PM Embarks on Germany Trip: Ex Bulgarian PM Embarks on Germany Trip Bulgaria's ex-Prime Minister and GERB leader, Boyko Borisov, photo by BGNES

The leader of the formerly-ruling centrist Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party, GERB, and former Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, is in the German capital Berlin on a working visit.

The information was reported Monday by GERB's press office.

While in Berlin, Borisov will meet with Hans-Gert P?ttering, former President of the European Parliament and current Chairman of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

In the Bundestag, the Bulgarian politician will hold talks with Thomas Silberhorn, Member of the Bundestag, speaker of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, CDU, for international affairs, defense and security, and with Michael Stubgen CDU speaker for EU related topics.

Stubgen also chairs the Bundestag group for friendship between Bulgaria and Germany.
