Bulgaria's Parliament has approved the merger of the Interior Ministry's Chief Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP) into the State Agency for National Security (DANS).
The move was approved at the second reading of the Bill Amending and Supplementing the State Agency for National Security Act on Friday.
The MPs of center-right party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) registered and left the Parliament's plenary hall immediately after that.
