The Head of Deutsche Bank for Bulgaria, Borislav Ivanov, is the likely mysterious second Deputy Prime Minister in the Bulgarian Cabinet "Oresharski."

The information was reported by Trud (Labor) daily, citing own sources.

According to the publication, the official announcement has been delayed since Ivanov has double citizenship – Bulgarian and German. Under article 110 of the Constitution, he must give up his German passport in order to join the government as only Bulgarian citizens can hold ministerial posts.

Reportedly, the procedure for the above has been launched but it might take up to a month. In case of a longer delay, Prime Minister, Plamen Oresharski, elected on the mandate of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP, is ready with an alternative nomination, according to Trud.
