The annual Kavarna Rock Fest was held on June 1st and 2nd in the Bulgarian Black Sea town of Kavarna with famous bands like Deep Purple and Accept delighting crowds of rock fans.

The festival lived up to their expectations, featuring such bands and performers as England's Thunder, Russia's Aria, German female rock star Doro Pesch, Bulgaria's Cherno Feredzhe and Analgin, and the headliners Accept and Deep Purple.

During the first day of the festival, the fans enjoyed the performances by Cherno Feredzhe, Aria, Thunder and Accept.

Thousands of fans sang along their favorite songs during the second night of Kavarna Rock Fest, as well. Russia's rock band Aria and the German female rock star Doro Pesch warmed up the audience, so that it erupted under the music of the English rock band, Deep Purple, at midnight.

Performing songs of their new album "Now What?!" Deep Purple closed this year's edition in the small hours of the day.

Deep Purple will perform in the second largest city of Plovdiv Monday evening.

Kavarna has earned the title The Rock Capital of the Balkans.
