Marin Raykov, who was Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister until Wednesday, is to become the country’s Ambassador to Italy.
Raykov will replace Angel Cholakov as Bulgaria’s Ambassador in Rome.
The former caretaker PM had already announced that he would not return as Amabassador to France once his term in office is over.
Raykov’s caretaker government has proposed several other Ambassador appointments.
Ivan Sirakov is likely to become the Balkan country’s Ambassador to Slovenia, replacing Filip Bokov.
Miroslav Zafirov has been proposed as the country’s new envoy to Qatar. He will likely replace Nikolay Ivanov.
Branimir Zaimov has been proposed as the new Ambassador to Ireland. Zaimov is set to substitute Emil Yalnazov.
Nikolay Milkov is likely to replace Ivan Naydenov as Ambassador to Canada.
Naydenov is set to become Bulgaria’s new Permanent Representative to NATO in Brussels.
Angel Cholakov is likely to replace Raykov as Ambassador to France.
