The first goal of Bulgaria's new cabinet must be to tackle negative economic and social trends in Bulgaria, stated PM hopeful Plamen Oresharski Saturday.
"Our first goal will be to stop negative trends, such as unemployment and monopolies. 250,000 new jobs can be opened using efficient reforms," said the former Bulgarian FinMin (2005-9) in an interview for TV7.
"I will be very happy if the economic platform we are going to propose overturns the negative trends and lead to a revival of the economy," added Oresharski.
He also recalled that among the priorities of his policy proposals is the restoration of statehood and, including the proper working of institutions in Bulgaria.
According to Oresharski, these and other measures should lead to an improved level of social justice in Bulgaria.
