65 035 of these votes have been cast in Turkey.

A total of 2 646 Bulgarians have voted in the United States. 625 have cast their ballots in Des Plaines, Illinois, while 545 have voted in New York and 345 have voted in Washington.

5825 Bulgarians have voted in the UK, with 3 924 of them doing so in London.

Nearly 7 million voters were registered for the May 12 parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party, the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the ultranationalist Ataka also obtained seats in Parliament.
