A Bulgarian businessman has bought one of the most expensive apartments in Vienna.

According to reports of Austrian Wirtschaftsblatt, apartments in the Palais Principe in the heart of Vienna are priced at EUR 10 000 – 27 000 per square meter.

According to the Austrian financial daily, the apartments in the exquisite residential building belong to the super rich, including the Energy Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Austrian industry chiefs and billionaires from Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria.

According to reports of Bulgarian mass circulation daily 24 Hours, the Bulgarian owner of the luxury property is 53-year-old Hristo Yordanov, co-owner of the Sage Consultants company.

Sage Consultants's scope of activities includes weapons trade, ammo, real estate, and construction.

The company was among the candidates seeking to buy Bulgaria's ailing state-owned military plant VMZ Sopot but it dropped out of the tender because it did not meet all criteria.
