Seven people have been injured in an explosion in downtown Zagreb.

According to reports of Tanjug, a man threw a hand grenade at a cafe in Zagreb's suburb of Botinec on Friday night, injuring seven.

The accident happened after a fight at the caf?.

The 52-year-old attacker, who had allegedly been slapped in the face, went home and returned to the caf? with a hand grenade.

Two people were seriously injured in the explosion but all of the victims have been stabilized and are not in a life-threatening condition.

The attacker has been arrested.
